it is the OEM fire extinguisher from BMW and it is discontinued. No mistake.

Don't most portable (non-commercial) fire extinguishers expire like every 3 - 5 years before you have to replace them.

Does this have an expiration date?

If anything the plastic brackets maybe worth anything here.

I would base this sale on the fact that the brackets are OEM and optimized for the E9x vehicles.

The actual extinguisher is at best just a show piece.
