Yup Jescar is the new name.its sold under. Power Lock and Collinite 845 was the go to one-two combo for detailers for most of the this decade until ceramic coatings hit the scene.

This is the best solution for protection and shine if you're not doing a ceramic coating. I just wish I started using it earlier, it's been on the market for many years. Collinite has been around for over 50 years lol.

Thanks for confirming! Any tips on how to properly use or apply it?

Autogeek.net can explain it better than I can. It's ridiculously easy. Wipe on, wait til it hazes, buff off.

After several hours of trying to get my new bumper in and staring at realoem I finally realized I'm missing a few parts I'll add it to the list of extra things I need to order before starting on the FMIC install. BUT on the brightside doesn't look as stupid as before lol

Brake fluid flush. 5 months early, but it was a nice day out and I was bored.

I made a damn mess. I didn't realize my catch bottle was pressurizing as it was being filled. When I pulled the tube off the bleeder, it sprayed everywhere. I couldn't understand why this was happening for three goddamn wheels.

But I learned by the 4th.

- charcole filter delete (yes I do feel it smoother), and new MAAN filter, didn't notice much sound difference
- first time dropping a bolt (airbox bolt), went all the way down on the bottom splash guard. Retrieved it by hand (that was a tight squeeze!)
- broke a clip, damn brittle plastic holding a hose
- got a scare with audio coming from left speakers, the whole front right and back right no sound. Turned out aux cable was slightly unplugged

Lux Angel Eyes on the E92

Result was fantastic, but spent way too much time installing Lux Angel Eyes on my E92........

1st, I mistakenly ordered ordered the V7's, but their customer service was great, and they took them back and told me I needed the H8's. Those finally arrived, and I went to Youtube before I dove in........

2nd, well, turns our there's a lot of E90 model videos for this installation, so I watched a few and went to work. Simple enough, get out the floor jack, front up on jackstands, pull the first front wheel, remove the inner fender liner and....... what?? No Angel Eyes there?

Back to YouTube, finally found "other videos" that were different showing you just need to pop off a cover at the headlight from above on MY car. Damn. Sure enough, pop the covers, and after a bit of a tussle with big hands in that tight space getting the bulbs out and in, 20 minutes later they were installed.

Of course, still had to clean up the other unnecessary mess - reinstall the fender liner, remount the wheel, down off the jackstands, put all that crap away

All in all, a great result from a 2 hour job that should have been 20 minutes.

Still happy though

That is the worse feeling...bolt drops and no idea where it goes!

You should head to your local auto parts store and grab an extendable magnetic grabber. Get the jobs with a light on the end also, they work great for those instances!

Yea, I was contemplating taking the other car and going to get one of these tools.
But I was lazy and I decided I'll be able to get it somehow.

I'll order a snake camera and a grab tool from aliexpress for the next time

And this is why I never change to summers until mid-late April.... After about two weeks of Spring, we got blasted with a bullshit ass snowstorm dumping 5cm of snow. Everything has been re-salted again, its going to be a wet nasty mess for another week as it melts...
