DinanTronics Sport Tuner Install

I got my Dinan Sport Tuner today and got it all installed to the plug at the front of the fuel rail. I was surprised that the plug had to be "modified" and I wouldn't have believed it if it weren't mentioned in the install directions. I went through the initialization process and confirmed the unit had power, but when I started the car it immediately went into limp mode. I scanned the computer got a code regarding the fuel rail pressures. I plugged everything back up in stock configuration and cleared the code, the car runs fine, no SES light. Has anyone had this issue or tackled the install themselves? I plan to do a full double check tomorrow and hope to fix it. If I do, I will take some pics and do a quick right up. Thanks in advance.

This group has never really been a huge market in the Dinan units due to the lack of functions.

That would explain the lack of results when searching. I liked the price point and the ability to choose "power settings" through bluetooth and the Dinan App. I will keep digging. Thanks.

We have moved onto real tunes .. you're only going to make issues by adding fuel later down the road via jbd, race chip oe dinan.

Did you ever get the Dinan module to work. I just received one today until I can afford a tune and ship out my ecu... On my wife's car might I add lol (x5 35d) Everything works fine but there is zero power increase with any of the modes. Even Valet mode does not change the power. Just emailed Dinan smh I knew I should have gone with Burger
