Has anyone wrapped the interior trim on a E92? If so I'd like to know if there are any gotcha's not already well known, and how big of a vinyl sheet did you need to cover all the front and rear pieces??? Thanks.

3x5 sheet is enough for the entire trim, however, I would pick up an extra foot or two for practice if this is your first time.

The corners round the air vents are the trickiest.

I wrapped my E46 trim and found that patience is essential, get the pattern going in the same direction and watch out for wrinkled spots. I'll keep my E92 trim as it is for the time being.

Got the wrap really warm and stretched it well. Not sure it is the best method though, as some corners look better than other corners.

Definitely leave some room for learning curve. I'm pretty detailed and found it extremely challenging. Perhaps that's why! It was really hard to get it perfect.

So far I wrapped my steering wheel trim and covered my CD/DVD slot trim with 3M 1080. Both pieces came out great however they also don't have any complicated curves.

The drivers side vent trim seems challenging since the vinyl has to wrap around the left side but there's also a deep corner on the top to worry about. Whenever I practice the only way I've been able to get it smooth is by stretching a lot, and when I stretch that much it distorts the pattern. Did you use more heat? I only used a hair dryer, perhaps a real heat gun will be better.

I also only used a hairdryer. Use plenty of heat and get the wrap super supple.

I used a 6x5ft roll when I wrapped my trim in my E92 but I think it was a tad excessive because I had a lot left over, but I gave myself a lot of room for error, it came out great though it was some "Forged carbon" design which honestly just looked like a black camouflage but still cool looking
