yea i go to school down the block at NCC lol....HOFSTRA is a good school..well recomended...i might even transfer there after! lol

It's a good private school... it's not cheap and a lot of "spoiled" kids go there because their upper class parents pay for their education....

You can't be madd out because mommy and daddy decided to help their children first. Mommy and daddy might of worked hard in there life to put there kids through college debt free, so they can come out of college and start making money for themselves and not pay off college loans. How old are you btw?

my sis went there for 2 semesters, but then transferred because it was too far and she didnt like dorming, but overall its a good school and it has a reputable law school.

Great school my wife got her masters there 4 years ago. Oh and by the way what constitutes as a spoiled kid. The fact that they dont have to pay for their education or the fact that mommy and daddy helped pay for their cars. From what Im seeing on this for there are tons of spoiled kids who live at home and drive 335's. Dont hate on someone cause they got it good.

I find it funny, that 99% of the comments are about the girls at Hofstra being hot.. and nothing to do with the level of education your friend will receive from the university.

I suggest telling your friend to read Barons guide to acredited universities, he will find out a lot about Hofstra.

Like I said in one of my earlier posts on this matter the school is great. My wife got her masters there. And my brother in law and his girlfriend are getting their masters there as well. All three went to SUNY Albany as well. But I must say the girls there are hot as is my wife so I got a hottie thats 5'6 120 lbs with a solid head on her shoulders.

yeah dude, I went to NYIT, right by it. Hofstra is known for girls. I never heard anything about the education there, I know they are liberal arts oriented and it's girls girls girls

If it's for an MBA or law degree (JD), I'd recommend against it. Hofstra's law school is notoriously bad. The MBA program isn't great either.
