Carpet issue.
While cleaning my carpet I must have scrubbed to hard or used the wrong method and now it looks like its matted or pilled (sp) Can this be fixed and how?

Sorry for the terrible photo, I did the best I could to clean it over a year ago with just hot water,spray nine and a towel in my parking stall. I'm going to remove the seats this spring and rent an extractor to do it properly, just want to know if this can be fixed because there's two or three areas that look like this. |

With the right stuff, you could probably get some (or most) of it back to normal. I try to avoid most chemicals (and wiping with any type of towel). At home, I use the wife's bissel carpet steamer wand attachment and instead of using carpet cleaner for the house, I use the Chemical Guys carpet cleaner (about 12 bucks for a bottle and it doesn't take much at all to do the entire car). It did wonders for my carpet, especially the soda/candy/who knows what else stains across the back floorboard from the kiddos that never listen when you tell them not to have junk in there... There may be better stuff out there; my experience with carpet isn't very extensive. But that worked for me, and it was cheap.
