First real expenditure this month after purchasing the car back in early May.

£126 for a new M-Sport gear knob and gaiter.

£127 for a set of six Delphi coil packs.

£63 for a set of six NGK spark plugs.

£130 for the MHD flasher tool and stage 1 map pack.

None of the above were strictly necessary, I guess you could deem the plugs and coils a necessity to run the stage 1 map without any misfire issues.

This is going to be an expensive month for me, after months of having to spend very little, my stock charge pipe has split & the water pump is on its way out after being replaced only 45,000 miles ago.
That's part of the joys of having a 335i, that next big repair bill is always only a press of the start button away
Water pump supplied and fitted £675, VRSF charge pipe £220.
I am not to fussed about having to spend on the charge pipe as fitting a VRSF was always something I had on my list to do but never got around to it, so I'm taking that as a positive However water pump failure after 45k is a joke, Cooper BMW charged me almost a £1000 to supply and fit that water pump
And it's also going to need a oil change this month

Around $440 for tires today. Punctured a sidewall on a front one yesterday and after checking the rears I realized I needed them too.. Really can't complain for the price, 4 non runflat tires mounted and balanced and (Y) speed rating.

£95 on 8 litres of Castrol Edge 0w30 & a oil filter today.
It took over eleven minutes on the phone for BMW Arden of Maidstone to tell me that they had a oil filter in stock. Gives me the hump considering that they have recently spent over two million pounds refurbishing their dealership...

As I have had to spend a bit on repairs I have finally decided to get the leaky sump gasket replaced & as the subframe has to be dropped I thought it'd be an ideal opportunity to replace my tired turbos as waste gate rattle has been getting worse lately. Had a quote of £1900 to do the sump gasket & supply & fit a pair of genuine Mitsubishi turbos with fitting kits. It going in on Wednesday, am rather looking forward to driving it once the works done

Thats a great price for the turbos alone, cotswolds bmw quoted £3k to supply the turbos!!!,
I'm having to replace mine soon as they are smoking badly under vacuum, looking at the Pure Stage 2 turbos, then port injection and upgraded fuel pump.....

Yeah I was quoted £2300 +vat just to buy the turbos & fitting kit from my local main dealer. The Mitsubishi turbos with fitting kits are just under £1400

New water pump, bolts, coolant £675
VRSF Chargepipe £230
Sump gasket, bolts, new turbos, oil & filter change £2080
CIC upgrade £850
Car insurance £540

A lot of money spent but on the upside the turbos chagepipe & cic have all made a big improvement to the car, it's so much nicer now.
Looking forward to trying out the cic tomorrow

Who did the CIC upgrade?
I'm starting to dislike my CCC quite a lot now.

Hi Adam, this guy did the CIC https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sour...XLafdOCJLYJHpO

He came to my house to fit it, only criticism is he didn't connect a, battery booster whilst doing the instal & my car now won't start despite it being on a battery charger all night & auto shifter is locked into park. Have tried connecting up a new battery it made no difference. I have called him & he will be over this afternoon to hopefully fix it.

Not the best recommendation then! Hope he can fix it for you.

The moral of this tale is make sure that you have a battery booster hooked up if you are doing coding or programming of any sort. Simply reading fault codes may be ok but modules can be buggered by the voltage dropping off while you are uploading new information

No it would seem not.
My car is still dead, he spent 6 hours on it yesterday, I have no idea what he has done or how he plans to fix it. When he left last night he told me he would do some research & that it'll only be something simple.

It lives! He was correct it was something simple.
Car is all good now, he had left the wires to the starter button unplugged.
I would still recommend him & am very happy with the CIC it is so much better than CCC.

I'm pleased it was a schoolboy error
Looking at the linked website he didn't look the sort of person to brick your modules but I still make sure my battery is hooked up to a charger if I am tinkering at all.
