**********s, the AFE is not a cold air intake. The STETT CAI and UR CAI are the only cold air intakes on the market. Those cones are sitting on top of a very hot engine. Convection is not the only mode of heat transport. Heat conduction will absolutely heat soak the AFE assembly.
