my old evo was phenomenal. It has built engine with forged internal, turbo-back exhaust, exedy stage 1 clutch, coil-over and tuned by speed industry. Basically, the Evo was just a track car and not meant for daily for me. My back was turned into ashes driving the Evo. But, couple month I raced an Evo prolly same set up as my old Evo. 3rd and 4th gear he was a car ahead of me (Due to his quick spooling turbo) but then I beat him in top end. Again, Evo and STI are great all around car...

5.5 gal E85 and 8.5 gal 93 gets you 40% E85. Or just do 4 gal E85 and 6 gal 93 which works too. Do 3 third gear WOT pulls on map 5 and you'll be set.

Cool ok, do I need to upgrade my jb4 G4 to G5? Or I don't need to?.... Can I try e85 mix in this winter weather? Through research, someday I should lower the mix of e85...

No need to upgrade to G5 right away. Just download latest firmware for your G4 before you add E85. Your can do it in the winter weather but be careful with the new power on these frozen roads. I personally won't bother with E85 again until April.

For my Jb4 I needed an addon to identify the fuel mixture. I'm not sure if the n54 is the same.

I run 50/50

I'm running COBB OTS E85 Map with 60/40 mix and it's faster than ever before. As for JB4 to run any higher mix than 60/40 e85 (50/50, 40/60...etc) I believe you need COBB BMS map on top of JB4 if I'm not mistaking.

No engine hardware mods required but you'll definitely need a tune with an E85 map. JB4, Cobb, Proceed all have E85 maps now. Gas mileage definitely takes a hit especially if you drive more aggressively.

You do not need to replace anything when running e85 with JB4. (Assuming you have DCI and DPs)
If you run map 5 on jb4 it will auto tune to e85 mix. You just can't run any higher mix than 60/40.
And yes, your mpg definitely decreases with e85 but I think it's definitely worth it for extra power temporarily.

Well guess ill do the dual intake first, then go from there. I have a buddy who can tune my car for $300 and he does a damn amazing job right off his laptop. Retunes are free also.

You could buy a JB4 for that price.

Does the jb4 do a good job of "custom" tuning. Like if I had just an intake, or say I upgrade to a exhaust will I even notice the diff if there are tunes for it. I know the Cobb tuner for the subarus only has like 3 settings but not specific for each mod or how many.

JB4 does a great job. Probably "arguably" the best piggy back tune. COBB is great too, but I've never tried it. N54 VS N55...

Downpipe + 93 octane gets you very far with the JB4.
+ Intake and FMIC, will get you a buttload.

JB4 has custom maps and preloaded maps for each user.
