I knew there had to be e92 rear arch extensions somewhere!

I was actually window shopping for Mercedes widebody kits. I stumbled on a British site that had rear arch extensions for a SL500. Before I could finish thinking: "why the hell doesn't anyone make these for the e92?!" I notice a link for bmw items, I click and low & behold in a sub category; the link for e92 rear arch extensions and the whole M3 bodykit with the rear arch extensions and m3 style bumper to match.

Just thought I'd share my find since there are so many threads about custom flaring etc. The links are below, enjoy...

That's not my car but yes it is a beauty with the m3 styling.

I don't know why guys on this forum make such a big deal about having m3 styling on non m cars. All of Mercedes 'sport models' have the AMG exterior package and sometimes even the badge and no one ever says their posing so what's the big deal?!

Wait, i'm confused as to what this really is, is it a full rear quarter panel that has the width as an M3 because the picture just doesn't help what this product shows.

Yes they should show the actual part. I'm assuming by the description that they attach to your existing rear quarter panel and then some bodywork will have to be done to mold them in; that's the easy part (for a skilled body guy). The hard part is that it appeared no one made the add on flare so guys have been doing all sorts of crazy to widen their rears.

sorry to burst your bubble, but these are pics of TRUE M3's.....I had found that site about 6-7 months ago when in the market for M3 Fenders, after couple e-mails back and forth the person told me that the look will "have a SIMILAR look as the M3's pictured"

No deal.

Oh wow, did they ever send you a pic of the actual part? I thought them not having the actual part posted was kinda suspect! Smh.

Nope, they NEVER did and that is exactly why I was emailing them, asking to see the actual part, because I told them that they could have very easily taking pic's of actual M3's. they kept telling me that the pics are real, and wanted my paypal / CC in an eager fashion.

911 guys have been doing this for years, porsche even has a factory flare. Unless the quarter is cut and welded the outcome is usually bad.
