Aftermarket valve cover?
Has anyone used a aftermarket valve cover for the n52 e90? I’ve seen them as low as $89 on eBay but also see the oem ones on ecstuning for $500. Wondering if it’s worth buying the oem one or if anyone has any experience with the cheaper aftermarket brands?

There were a few mixed reviews but that was a couple of years ago (cracked or leaking). There was definitely a successful post a month or two ago about the very topic.
I bought a OE from FCPEuro (~$400 at the time) for the simple fact that I can get it replaced if it ever goes bad. For me, the cost is worth not caring about the risk. I didn't like doing it the first time and want to avoid many more times in the car's lifetime. |
