do you need a new gasket from dpf to the exhaust? I have this exhaust but yet to install it. I can't find many clips of it with dpf delete either. Any drone?

exhaust usually comes with gasket, but yes, need gasket from downpipe to midpipe. Aarod has vibrant 3" for few bucks if you need one

You should only need one, but good to have spare

Thanks. Car is new to me. I bought the exhaust brand new from someone who never installed it and I am really familiar with the n52 but not the m57. I know the dpf is one pipe, I should have put 2 and 2 together.

Has anyone run this exhaust and seen real numbers compared to a stock gutted SCR with factory mufflers?

Is there any hp/tq gains using this full system?

I don't have the atm exhaust, but you will probably see better performance from the atm vs gutted. I ran gutted for a bit and it seems like a gutted scr creates some undesirable turbulence since it's just a massive can, plus the rear mufflers also open up to a massive can. I feel like my custom exhaust gave my car some more mid range and top end power but probably placebo effect. The noise is better though which I think is worth it lol

Main benefits are weight reduction and being able to keep your stock exhaust if you ever need to convert back or even swap between mufflers and no mufflers. I have had mine for 2 yrs now and love it.

I got the IAKnown exhaust along with with a tune/delete a couple years ago and couldn't be happier with it. The note is a nice, deep but no-too-loud rumble that crescendos to an omious shriek at WOT. It took a little fiddling to get it hung just right, but it's been great ever since.

I've had ATM (Iaknown) turbo-back since October 2018 and absolutely love it. At first I had the mufflers, but switched the mufflers out for straight sections last month for some extra grunt. The resonator built into the section after the DP eliminates any drone, and with the mufflers now gone, it makes a glorious sound under WOT, especially from 3,500-4,500 rpm. Puts a poop-eating grin on my face every time.

I have seen the pics in this thread and on their site. I just want more because it's beautiful. Maybe we can get some sound clips of the muffler version vs straight pipe version? I plan to get the mufflers since it's my DD, but @BlueHen335d makes me reconsider.

Are you anywhere near Kent Island or New Carrollton Metro station (the two places I park on the way to my job in DC)? I'd be glad to give you an in-person sound clip.

I will for sure. The only problem is I’m still a ways off from ordering for now. Got a baby on the way and trying to get the rest of the car sorted before the deletes.

There is a brace near the middle of the car that I ended up taking off because the exhaust was rattling against it. Make sure you spend some extra time aligning the exhaust tips in their openings while you are tightening down the exhaust clamps. Mine are not centered and they rattle against the rear bumper. I have loosened the clamps, centered the tips, and tightened the clamps but they eventually work their way towards the outside and rattle again.

Where can I source a new exhaust kit for my deleted 335d?

I was not able to private message Iaknown?

Thanks
