Seems like a good opportunity for someone looking for an automatic transmission m-sport. Good luck!
Great price for the miles, but it's not an M-Sport car. Saddle is awesome in Sport packaged cars, I wish I could say the same for Bluewater ( and I own one )

The way you'd do that is start making metal shavings in the engine (obviously bad) and then have the leak that's causing the oil to get into the coolant carry the metal there (making it even worse).

Definitely needs a new engine for the most economical fix.

Or coolant into the oil but why? Unless a head gasket is bad fluids aren't mixing and you wouldnt get metal shavings with a bad head gasket.

Maybe water pump shredded the housing, cooked the engine, oil and coolant mixed? Doesnt sound like that from the OP's description or seem likely with the mileage. Hopefully whoever finds the car can unravel the mystery here.

Apologies - I did run the VIN through mdecoder and saw "M-Sport Suspension" and didn't connect the dots. Thanks for clarifying it!

Very nice. Love white cars, and that saddle leather is really great looking!
Black or saddle is what Im seeking, prefer white exterior, but open to other colors

There is an admin on the maxbimmer Canadian forum that has access to the data. Post your vin and he can run it for you. Slickfinga (or similar) is his username.

Sweet, I figured they were super low like that, I was trying to speculate the other night and I figured with color combo and RWD there can't be more than 70 wagons like mine for that year, which honestly makes them a pretty rare car in the US (if you are into that sort of thing)

I'm surprised that totaled the car. Isn't that just a new fender and door? Hell, I'd buy that and just drive it for a while

Fender, 2 doors, rear bumper, quarter panel repair, and a good chance the A-pillar is bent.

My car (which came off the line maybe 100 cars before this one) was totaled with even less damage to the left side fender and a-pillar.

If I had some land, I'd buy this one just to have spares...

My car was totaled because of it being stolen. This is all the damage before some polishing. Pretty ridiculous...

Maybe you should try going through a broker? It would be worth it for this rare e91.

Haha. I just showed up to post the same car, through ridesafely:

https://www.ridesafely.com/en/salvag...=2&vtdesc=auto

I used Ridesafely twice as my broker (one vehicle thru CoPart, one one thru IAAI (my e91)) RIdesafely fees were roughly $300 for vehicles that cost between $1K-2500K IIRC, on top of about the same for the auction house.

Ridesafely was really easy to deal with (I have no affiliation with them)

If I lived within 12 hours of this wagon, or had more disposable income or less cars in my driveway already I'd be bidding.

The A-pillar is not bent or they would of marked it like everything else.

Looks like a pickup got into the side of it.

I've only bought vehicles with "clean title, may become salvage...depending on your state's regulations" through CoPart or IAAI.
For sure every vehicle purchase is a gamble to some extent, both on the vehicle and the marriage.
