Projector housing retrofit

I recently came up on some adaptive xenon headlights for a e92. However I have an e90 and I know that the headlights wont fit. Can i disassemble them and retrofit my halogen housings with the internals from the e92 headlights or are the mounting points for the lens different as well?

I was given these headlights so I thought Id try to get some use of them before I try to sell them before anybody says its not worth the money

E92 adaptive xenon internals will not fit directly into a halogen E90 headlight. Is it possible to make it fit? Probably, anything is possible. Is it worth it? No.
I swapped my E90 factory xenon projectors to Morimoto M-LED 2.0 - now that was worth the time and money.

Agreed with above. You're better off selling the e92 headlights, pocket that cash, and pick up some projectors and led angel eyes.

How easy was the task? DIYable? I wanted to swap to a clear lens. Any guide on how to do it?

Do you have any link/pictures of your project?
I would like to see the Morimoto LED setup.
