Expensive Burton Snowboard Package

I have just bought my new snowboarding gear for this season and have decided to sell my current board, boots and bindings.

This was the ultimate top of the range gear two years ago and was some of the most expensive you could buy.

The snowboard is Burtons flagship B.M.C (Burton Manufacturing Centre) and is a 156 in length. It has the odd scratch but nothing major or anything to worry about or that will ever prevent the board acting as good as it did when i first bought it. Its been tuned and waxed after every single days use and the edges are still razor sharp.

The B.M.C is known for being all mountain board/freeride board but ive used it in every single condition and on every possible terrain inc board parks and it performs effortlessly regardless. It is incredibly stable at high speeds which is why ive owned 4 B.M.C's over the years. I originally paid almost £700 for the board!

The board features an Indium base that absorbs heat to reduce friction. Tagged by Burton as “the ultimate freeride board” it snaps effortlessly from one turn to the next. Classified as an all mountain charger, great at high speed carves, stable and fast. Built around a Dragonfly core with Sintered Indium Base, DualWarp Lite Triax, Carbon I-Beam, Multizone EGD and Graphic Tech.

The bindings are Burtons top of the range P1-HD Carbons in Medium. The highback is in a Carbon Fibre finish and look awsome in the flesh. They are super comfortable and very quick and easy to get your boots in and out of in a hurry. Unbelievable quality as you would expect from Burton. They have a couple of scratches but again nothing that prevents them from doing their job perfectly. I paid £350 for them last year.

Finally the boots are again Burtons top of the range SL-6 snowboarding boots. They are UK size 7, US size 8, EUR 41.
They come in an awsome "Fish Scale" effect and are ultra stylish!! They are the perfect fitment for the P1-HD's. They are supremely comfortable and very easy and quick to lace up. They also come with an inner boot for extra comfort and precision. I paid £340 for them.

So the whole package cost my in the region of £1,400 and is still considered a highly desirable and highly respected set up.

I will include a full spare set of base plates and bolts for the bindings, a very useful hand tool to quickly adjust and remove the bindings and several stomp pads and leashes that ive never used. I am also willing to throw in a snowboard bag to carry it all in.

A great package and a real bargain for someone this season.

£199 for everything!!!!

Agree tis a bargain.

I'd have just for the board/bindings but at my weight 156 is really just a bit too short. My current Burton Cascade 159 off-piste board is a bit too short really, though its not helped on-piste by the radius cut.

Just out of interest, how big a boot can you get in a medium binding (I'm size 9/10).

EDIT - I am tempted despite the above.

All of my mates with size 9 boots run with medium bindings.

Blast, my boots are UK10, US11 - and medium burton bindings are upto US10, large bindings are US10+.

A bargain for someone though. Good luck.

PS Whats your favourite resort (in europe), and can you do a double McTwist 1260 in the pipe yet?

No probs - best you get bindings that fit the boots properly. These bindings were made to marry to the SL-6 so thats why they are a perfect match.
Ive boarded all over the world and have been boarding for 15 years. Cant beat the awsome powder of Canada/BC but its a trek to get there so we always do 3 or 4 Europe trips each year to Chamonix, Val D'Isere, Meribel and Courcheval 1850. Im heading over to Val D'Isere in 2 weeks time and i CANT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
