Shop in SF Bay Area for Suspension and Wheels?
Hey
I'm looking for a good shop around the Bay Area to install coilovers or springs for me and to mount my tires and rims w/o scratching the **** out of them. I'll also be needing an alignment probably. Any suggestions? Preferably a place familiar w/ the e9x's. Alex

Auto Innovations 1337 Minnis Circle Milpitas, CA 95035 408.956.8004 Rob (shragon) and my tinter told me to go there. Got my front & rear sways done there. They do all suspension work... and will align too... not sure about pricing cause I don't know them that well.

you could probably just say another e90post member got his sway bars installed and you were hoping he could hook it up or something.

I would suggest Navid at Extreme Performance in San Jose...he can source the wheels/tires..get the mounted..and do the suspension install. http://www.xperformance.com
He is a good friend of mine...and a current E36 M3 race car owner..and former E46 M3 daily driver. He is getting a 335i soon I believe. |

auto innovations in milpitas is awesome. those guys are OG and i know they've been around before 1995, which is when i started following the import scene. as stated, they'll do installs and have an alignment machine. and they can order anything else you may need, including tires.
another good shop i found is carlab in santa clara. i got the suspension done on my e90 there. they however do not have an alignment machine. www.carlabms.com ask for darwin. since you're in sf, you should pm nightkahn about his experience at mach III. i know he got his suspension done there.

+1 Auto Innovations have been there since at least 1992! LOL That was the first time I remember my brother going there. They do really good work and are honest and reputable. Overall friendly people and have been that way since day 1. |
