Did you replace only the struts, or did you also replace spring pads, strut mounts as well?

Were any of the control arm bolts removed to help get the strut out? If so, were the bolts retightened with the arm in the loaded position(the bushing acts as a spring... if tightened while unloaded it will act like a spring)?

This was the first thing that came to my mind when I read this. Though I'm pretty sure this isn't your first rodeo so I would assume you already know about this.

Control arm and it's mounts weren't touched.
New strut mounts (same height as the ones I removed, the old ones had not collapsed), bump stops, sway bar endlinks. None of which will raise the ride height by 1.5" which is what I am seeing.
The upper and lower coils on the springs are also seated properly against their stops on the perches.
The strut tab is fully seated against the knuckle as well.

I'm at a total loss here. May have to bite the bullet and just slap some coilovers on it and call it a day. I've spent almost $800 CAD in parts in the last month and still not satisfied with the ride height and comfort.

Or part this bitch out and get a F10...

With Yellows did the ride quality improve/comfortable then before as well?

Which springs did you go with?

Night and day. Koni Yellow with Eibach ProKit maintains all the stock comfort, if not more, yet handles much better too. It's the best DD combo imo.

Looking to do the same

Did you need to replace any other parts. Bump stops etc..

Did you do the install yourself? Cost to instal?

Were you going from a sport package suspension to the new setup?

How much did was the ride height effected? In terms of mm or inch?

Glad to hear you’re so happy
