how to check nav version?

n00b to e92 here. picking it up tomorrow and wanted to know how to check nav version, i already searched and couldnt come up with anything..

I think you will get the 2007.2 version ( dealer on hand inventory ) since 2008 will not release until March 08.

take out the navigation DVD it has the version printed on the disc.

I'd like to check the iDrive/Progman version, as well, but haven't found a way. There is a way to check the hidden menus but I can't find any indication of the Progman installed.

I just had an O2 sensor installed and was told it involved updating the software but I can't see any difference, and my iPod scrolling is still slow (I assume I have ver. 27, as my car was built this summer at the end of the 2007 cycle and picked up in Munich at the end of September).

If anyone knows how to check the Progman, please pass along!

Best info found to date is can only know iDrive program version from service printout.
