I got a email last week about this recall. Have an appointment setup for the end of the month to have this repaired. So everyone should start getting theirs done. I got my appointment at BMW Langley, looks like BJ also has stock as the original email came from there since i bought my car from them. But taking it to Langley as thats closer to home.

Same here . Park ave Bmw in NJ in 2 weeks is my appt.

"We now have parts for the PCV valve recall and we have the parts for some of the blower motor wiring cars. It depends if your car has the long or short harness. We will have to inspect the car to see which one it has. You can call the main number and set up an appointment and we will gladly take care of the one and see if we have the other one.

Got the work completed at policaro BMW. They received the part this week.

One day after the warranty service was completed my air conditioning has now stopped working

I got two recall letters earlier this year. Both stating that I will be contacted when parts are available... needless to say I am not holding my breathe...

The dealer (BMW of Silver Spring MD) never called me. I called them and was told they had the parts for both the blower fan and PCV heater recalls. Appt. was last Tuesday. When I got there, they told me they only had the short harness, so if my car needed the long harness it might be a couple of days. They had the car done in half a day.

Next day, when driving the car, it was running crappy. Got home, ran the codes. All MAF sensor codes. I checked the car which revealed the connector looked to be in place, but a slight tug on it and it popped right out. I clicked it back in and it runs great again. Probably a simple mistake on their part.

Edit - didn't realize until I posted this is a Canadian forum. Whoops!.

Anyone know where in the GTA do dealers have the blower motor wire harness parts? I keep on hearing end of summer or end of year. No one has any definitive date.

I called Mississauga Pfaff and they said that I would have to bring the car in for a wiring inspection (I would have to leave the car) and that a 2nd appt would be needed for the actual repair. What kind of crap is that??? I think I will wait a few more months until they smarten up. From other posters, it sounds like getting the repair at Policaro went pretty smoothly.

I got both the blow by and blower motor work performed at Pfaff. Does anybody have the post to the instructions of work done?

Did Pfaff require two visits? One for an inspection and a 2nd for the actual work? Every time I call them, that's what they tell me. Somewhat inconvenient if that's the case

No sir, one visit, both recalls. The appt date was approx 30 days from my call.
They did shuttle service to my destination but I had my wife drive me to the dealer for pickup because shuttle last pickup is 4pm.

I was calling my dealer for 8 months and they never have parts. Canadian recalls are BS.
