My iPad quick (ghetto) mount
I have a road trip do which came about suddenly. It should be fun. However because I don't have iDrive I decided that the next best thing to use is my iPad. It has music (ipod, Pandora, Slacker Radio, iHeart Radio etc) and most importantly navigation (Tomtom, Google Maps). I wanted to use a Pro Clip Mount for the iPad however it's going to take long to get here. So here is the temporary setup which happens to work great with the Apple case for the iPad
Here is my driving test Here is the non destructive and non invasive way I did it. It's totally reversible without any ill effects. This should get me by on this road trip until I get the right mount.

Very simple really. I used clothes hangar wire. I cut it a little longer than the iPad and made hooks at the end. I then slip the hooks behind the trim starting from the left side next to the start button and slid it over to the center. I was careful not to scratch the trim or dash. I closed the center vents and got plenty of cool air from the vents on top of the dash.
