I'm in!

Since the sedan has fold-down rear seats, I'll bring the shuffle board sticks.

I am in Saskatoon and interested in getting a 323(that's all I can afford..for now) ... I heard that the average margin on a bimmer is 9.5%. But anyway, do you guys think I should even try to negotiate for a better price in Sask, or should I just try going to a sdealer in Calgary where I can do a internet quote or something and get a better deal?

sure can't hurt to try and negotiate a price there in saskatoon, you could even take in a quote you received from another dealership to help negotiate

Hi all,

I will be transfered to Moosejaw this coming summer. I will probably buy or build a house in Regina. How is the BMW service in Regina? Any pointer to life in the Regina area is appreciated.

My wife and I are pretty excited about this.

Thanks

Hey Jeff! Welcome to Saskatchewan!!!!

I live in Saskatoon, so I have never used Dilawri BMW. but I haven't heard anything bad about them. Moose Jaw is a pretty easy commute from Regina and a nifty town at that. You will adapt well from Halifax if you consider the prairie a big golden ocean. Regina is quite a bit smaller than Halifax and far less cosmopolitan but can be a pretty fun place. Be prepared for plenty of sunshine, lots more steak and a lot less fish. Since the climate is fairly dry, cars last well, apart from harsh winters. Make sure you stock your fridge with plenty of Great West Light beer, find yourself something green to wear when it's Rider game day and you'll fit in nicely.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I will have to go work in Dundurn omn a regular basis so Saskatoon won't be too far... BTW, I am an Alouette fan (I guess Iwill have to be a closet fan for the next few year and pretend to cheer the RR).

Is it cold enough in the winter to warrant the need of block heater?

We demand compensation for the loss of ElCapitan. A first round pick and two second rounders should do it. Oh, and cash considerations.

I didn't think I was worth that much. Thanks for the vote of confidence Paul.

You're not, but if I start high for the negotiation, we should end up in the right place.

You know how to hit the soft spot of a maritimer (I believe the maritime has the highest Tim Horton per capita in Canada). I don't know if Paul is our typical Timmy double double addict Halagonian though.

Nope, I don't drink coffee. You'll have to offer something better. Maybe send over 20 of your finest virgins.

When I bought my '01 330xi and I was told it didn't come with/didn't need a block heater I thought they were stark raving mad. 6 winters later with leaving my car out all day on frozen parking lots, I guess I can say you don't need one. Regardless of temperature my car has always fired up instantly.

Well played sir, well played.

In that case, we will take your 10 "least used" women, being as close to virgins as we can get, and your 10 hottest, for ElCapitan and his 3 bimmers.

Do we have a deal?

Don't worry Jeff, we'll throw you one of the 10 hottest on your way out of province.

Just Googled license plates for Saskatchewan and I am very happy that only rear plates are required. No holes yet on the front bumper of my M3.

Drew, I'm confused. Did you sell the house?

My car was built in the week of Mar 19 (12th week). Last I heard, it was waiting to get on a boat to Halifax too. Maybe our cars will be shipmates.
