Jpsimon did an upgrade turbos and that car is a beast. His logs are very strong and just as responsive as smaller turbos.

It is only about 50 rwhp on that setup at most and the cost including installation is about $4500. That is very pricey for that little gain and there is no wastegate fix so it is just as likely to rattle as the stock. I think that is a tough sell there. A full turbo upgrade is the way to go if someone brings a kit to market.

I'm not too much in favor of a single turbo as my objective is to retain as much as possible the responsiveness and lack of lag (!) of the N54 biturbo concept. I can't really see that with a big single - even if it makes more power. But that's just my subjective point of view. Alpina_B3_Lux

ahh..my old 335i is in for a treat. Hope you're enjoying it, Justin.
And definitely post pictures of the build. At least the hardware fabricated..always love that stuff.

Twin wastegates are there because they are using a divided manifold for the twin scroll turbo. 1 wastegate for 3 cylinders.
Was kinda hoping to see pics of an actual turbo kit I hope they aren't planning on using that intake... |

Another day, and some more progress regarding the mounting of the turbo and the flange of the exhaust manifold. Now comes the challenging part, fabricating a custom exhaust manifold. Luckily, the design has been finalized. This is really the most challenging part, as the stock design was a bit tricky
