I just got the Eibach sway bar kit, which has both front & rear upgraded sway bars. This kit is somewhat hard to come by brand new these days!

Looks like you have to lower the subframe a little to sneak the rear sway bar in. I haven't read any negative reviews on this set. I have the B12 kit, which I have read these particular sway bars will compliment the springs found in this set up.

I'm probably going to install them this weekend, but we will see. Weather in Michigan can be a little unpredictable.

I do have to change the oil since it's been 1000 miles since I installed the RB Turbos & did the Rod Bearings. I'll will be doing an oil flush prior to draining the oil. My engine has seen regular oil flushes since I first bought it in 2009 w/ only 20,000 miles on it. So, no worries there. I use the liqui Moly oil flush. It seems to do a good job.

Have you upgraded subframe bushings or added inserts? If not, this might be a good time to do that.

Yep. Maybe 40,000 miles ago I did m3 subframe & differential bushings as well as new bushings through out the rear subframe.

Just installed the Eibach front & rear sway bars. The front is extremely noticeable vs the OEM. Noticeable from the weight & thickness. The car will corner on a dime now. I have B12 kit. The sway bars are built to compliment the B12 kit & IMO, they absolutely do.

Eibach only makes one kit of sway bars for the e90. From what I have read, the Eibach sway bars are near the very top of the food chain of sway bars for the e90.

If you have the b12 kit or are thinking about getting it, the matching sway bars are a no brainer.

I wouldn't necessarily say Whiteline is better than Eibach when comparing sway bars. It's important to get a sway bar that matches your spring rates.

The Eibach front sway bar is "heavy duty"; I mean it's SOLID! There's no question it's better than the stock & M3 bar.

While you are in there?

Hmm...

That depends on what you are thinking about doing. The rear sway bar was a little tricky getting in there. It took some finagling. It would certainly be a "breeze" if you took the rear subframe out of the car. I'd only do that if I were planning on doing subframe, control arm & differential bushings... while the subframe is out, that's when you do SS brake lines 😉.

Get the Eibach Kit. I'd then get m3 control arms, new Tie Rods.

There's not too much to the front.

If you do engine mounts, then do the trans mounts too. Newton's 3rd law. Rogue Engineering trans mounts are best for our platform & are not crazy expensive.

Make sure you have a torque wrench that can do angles for the oil pan gasket, or an angle reader.

I don't like the red. In keeping things stock looking I had the two sway bars powder coated black. These are a must with the B12 kit.

You will have some understeer with only the front one installed. FYI

Remember Newton's 3rd Law 😉
