Theres plenty of auto's about but i'm not interested in auto's.

I'll have to sacrifice something...

I should be able to stretch to £15k - depends what i get for my current car!

I'm in no desperate rush so i'll see if anything pops up.

I wish Manuals were more common, auto's seem to be easier to get hold of.

Same boat mate but looking for a 330d manual. Why people spec them with auto boxes I just don't know completely ruins the drive. If you wanted to drive a big lazy tourer then get a Cadillac not a sports coupe and fit it with a lazy man's autobox.

It's frustrating! There's a 335i M-Sport 43k, ticks most of the boxes for £15000 but it's an auto. Why people spec'd the auto on a drivers car this this i'll never know!

Indeed I am mate but I'm of the minority that loves driving and loves a proper manual box. A lot of people seem to want a poky motor but a lazy gearbox

But hey ho each to their own

no stick to your budget, like you say great deal are autos but your budget will get you one sooner or later, one on ebay but its a auto with all the extras needed at 14500 or offers, its had all the hpfp and injectors changed on warranty as well ,just as hard for a seller to shift one, as looking for a manual.no way do you need to increase budget, after all the autos are a factory option which according to cap increase value,so a manual worth less in the trades eyes.

Have you tried the auto in MS sport mode and shifting yourself, its a decent drive and then you can stick it in full auto when you are in lazy mode and bet if you did you would find yourself using auto more and more.

I've not to be honest, i don't mind an auto gearbox when i've driven them before but the other half (who'll drive it more than me) absolutely hates autos and won't budge!

Let the other half have a go in the auto, also the paddles make manual shifts really easy and fun too.

Stick with your guns and get a manual. All auto drivers are a bit gay My 335i and 330d were both manuals; freaking brilliant drives (they were rare then, even more so now)

There is one on eBay that I think fits the bill mate. Can't QUITE see if it's manual for sure, but it does look it.

That said, it is an SE with MSport kit so not sure it's 100% there.
