Courtesy Car

So about 2 weeks ago my car was rear ended by some dude. The damage wasn't too bad but the bumper needed replacing. The process went fine, the dude admitted liability right away and my car was taken away for repair this morning.

I received a 2011 Mercedes A Class as a courtesy car. Now i own a 2006 E90 so i assumed it a 2011 Merc wouldn't be too bad. Boy was i wrong. THIS CAR IS FREAKING HORRIBLE. No other way to put it, interior feels all cheap and plasticy and the drive is nothing to brag about.

I was told i would receive a like for like car. Didn't happen that way though :/ ... hell an Astra would have honestly been a better option. Already miss my Bimmer

I thought the new A class looks pretty awesome inside and out, or was it the previous boxy model?

2011 would be the old model which was the high box. New aclass is 2013 onwards

That is NOT like for like. The A class has been widely reviewed as the worst car Mercedes have ever produced.

I'd not have accepted that I think.

I got a Hyundai i10 from enterprise the other day. I am certain that this car was still better than my mate's old A class!

I'm in a mini cooper D today. Nice car really.

Having had the old Blcass as well that compared to the new one its like diffrence between the dacia sandero and a E90

They moved along a lot

I had a hire car the other day, a Kia Venga.

Had to do quite a few hundred miles and it was awful.

It was only 550 miles old and was gutless. Sometimes when you put your foot down nothing happened.

Other times you would hear a strong clatter of metal before the turbo kicked in.

Awful car. Can't remember hearing such a bad stereo either.
