DRL on 06 330i e90
One of my DRL's; a H7 bulb on my e90 330i with adaptive xenons has burnt out. I have seen many posts that it is a real pain to change this bulb. Some say it is easy while most give up. I will tackle that when I get there. My question is about getting rid of the ugly yellow color H7 DRL bulb. What color temp would match the 4300K stock xenon light. I have read that no matter what temp it will never always appear yellow. I guess that would be ok but my main question is will any H7 bulb work for replacement of the inner DRL's? I know that the DRL's run at half power so does the wattage have to match factory specs? I apologize for the all the questions but I could not find an good answer after searching and searching. Thanks guys!

I imagine any H7 bulb should do. Just keep in mind these are your high beams also.
"Whiter" H7 bulbs will look whiter but still not be as white as the xenons. Also, the whiter bulbs typically don't last longer than a year or so.

I think you might be right... I have halogens and foolishly assumed the behavior would be the same. My bad.
