Whelp my car is at the dealership for some recalls I have been putting off and to hopefully fix whatever is going on under my SULEV warranty. Lets have fun and see who can guess what is going on!

Symptoms: My car recently threw some codes (I use a Carista OBD2 scanner) and my SES light has been on yellow for a couple weeks. Codes were:
P0156 O2 Sensor Circut Bank 2 Sensor 2; P0161 O2 Sensor Heater Circut Bank 2 Sensor 2; P0442 Evaporative Emission System Leak Detected (small leak).

After I exited the fwy yesterday my car started making a really loud noise and would sputter at an idle.

I've never seen or heard it myself, but I've heard comments about a whine something like that from the oil filter. With some not-so-great ones, the oil flow can make some squeal.

You could always get a $5 stethoscope (harbor freight, wherever) and poke around to see if you can locate the source.

Could be oil filter gasket or a vacuum leak in the valve gasket or pcv valve. Try taking off oil fill cap and see if sound stops or if there's a lot of suction on it
