Usually LM's look better than many other wheels out there including OEMs but on your car, OEM 189 looks better.

Well I like the stock ones, but F what others think, it's your car! You want your car to be different (I do atleast), so if you like the reps than stick with em...and over time rims will usually grow on people.

I'm going to have to go with the 189's...they look awesome for "standard" wheels.

wow 189's on a sedan look frickin awesome

but then again the lm reps look very good to
keep your reps ,tell your freinds to take a hike,
sell your stock wheels, pocket some cash, and enjoy your new wheels

+1 for 189's. BBS LM's look better on the e92 then the e90, but personally I've never really liked them either way....real or fake.

I, too, would like to see two people there that can tell their hair from hares, as they're often found in a fluffle or kindle.

Okay, to OP, it seems you have enough replies to get your answers...

I'll reiterate for you what the overall guidance of the forum has been thus far, which by the way, also includes my own humble opinion...

BBS = most people don't understand them, they come off as a cheap mod, bmw's branding relies on it's clean engine, simple - less is more design (take its modest interior for example). Plus, you're fitting a wheels that REALLY CLASH VIOLENTLY with the clean prestine smoothness of the BMW... it's also because the BBS logo is red, which doesn't mesh well.

189's - those wheels symbolize everything that is BMW. It's aggresive yet reserved. It's strong yet refined. It's curvey which reminds you of how BMW is always about continous improvement and development - evolution..

The key point that makes BMW's awesome (partially why there are so many BMW haters out there) is that when you drive it and others grill you, the car makes you feel like.. "I know I can take you", "even if you have a faster car.. I still know my car is better, just because it is a sophisticated, yet simple (inline 6), smooth and aggresively luxurous ride"....

You don't want to fuk with that.

I've seen those rims on a million beat up, sticker riddin Scions, Integras, and riced-out civics, and while all those cars I mentioned have their merits... having the BMW designed rims with your more classicly refined car is much more appealing.. (to most people)
