Special finish.

I'll post some crappy pics as soon as I get them... and they will be on an E46 M3. I think that means I get my own thread.

I really love the standard finish on my TiAg. These wheels are hauntingly great looking. I am growing more fond of them everyday. Can't wait til I get a drop.

I am though looking forward to seeing all the differnt finishes for these spectacular wheels.

Thanks once again to Bhairsto and Carlos

Try some Poorboys wheel sealant. About 3 coats on the entire inner and outer surface of the wheel. The brakedust sticks a lot less and makes any wheel a snap to clean.

Speaking of cleaning these awesome (but difficult to clean) VS7 wheels...I got my car washed/waxed today (again...for like the 3rd time in 2 months, mainly b/c my new VS7s were dirty of course...LOL ) and I had the guy wax my VS7 wheels with Wheel Wax (like I usually do every time I get my car waxed).

However, I'm sure this one coat of Wheel Wax is not enough to reduce the dirt and brake dust on these 'highly exposed' wheels. So I ordered the Zaino Z-CS Clear Sealant which is supposed to be decent on the wheels; I figured I'd give it a try, since it's one of those "apply and let dry" sealants (no need to buff off). I know some other ppl have some experience with this fairly new Zaino product, but I'll let everyone know how it works.

I''m very interested in this. I which I would have done it before installation.

That's why I always use 3 coats. It takes time, but it made a huge difference . Otherwise, cleaning the 19" foged double spoked wheels on the M3 was a PITA.

Yeah, on my M6 Reps I just sold, I probably had 4-5 coats of "Wheel Wax" on them; at least the guy who bought them off me will enjoy nice, clean wheels that don't attract as much brake dust and dirt (especially with the gunmetal gray paint inside).

I'm going to try to do the same with this Zaino Z-CS sealant on my VS7s to see if it helps. Otherwise, every time I have my car waxed (which is about every other month or so ), I'll have the guys apply Wheel Wax to my wheels and then apply the Zaino Z-CS a day later. According to the Zaino Web site, they say the Z-CS should be applied as a final coat to seal it. I may even try the stuff on the entire car, as that's the Zaino Z-CS's purpose (although I always have the Pinnacle Liquid Souveran carnuba wax applied as a top coat over the Klasse AIO for a deep, glossy shine).
