My wheels are one distribution center away from delivery! UPS states they will be here on the 24th, but the wheels are maybe 25 minutes away from me now. Heck, they reached the Cleveland area Saturday. I may have to take a day off from work Tuesday...

Received my wheels yesterday! UPS did a fine job handling the boxes this time around. I was worried when one of the tracking numbers stopped getting updates two days ago while the three boxes shows out for delivery. Anyway, thhe long wait is over and I can finally enjoy the wheels before the first snow.

I want to thank Carlos for taking care of the powdercoating issues before shipping my wheels instead of rushing it and producing a half-decent quality product. The wheels look fantastic! Not a single blemish on the finish. I took some pictures last night but forgot to bring my sd card to work today. I'll post some pictures of the smoked titanium VS7s when I get home tonight.

My tires are scheduled for delivery tomorrow so I'm hoping to get them installed by Saturday. We shall see.

I wish everyone waiting for their VS7 the same result that I got. Please post some pictures if and when you can.

To the OP, Astris, I hope you resolve your wheel finish issues with Carlos soon. Keep us posted with the results.

My shipment technically arrived yesterday, but nobody was home to sign for the delivery. They should have been routed to my friend's home, so hopefully I will have them tonight. I will be sure to post pictures.

Sadly, with winter around the corner, I will not be able to enjoy the wheels until next year.

Just checked UPS, they have made it to my friend's home! Now I need to call him to pick them up from his house.

Lucky. I had the same issues with my tracking numbers too. UPS actually sent one wheel to the wrong city!

Glad to hear yours arrived in perfect condition. Two of my wheels actually arrived with the finish on the back of hub completely rubbed off down to the metal... as if they had been mounted to something. Granted, that didn't really matter since it can't be seen when mounted.

Aside from that, my finish issues are still on going. I don't even know when/where I'll get them redone.

PM'd you with a list of powerdercoating shops in your area. Might want to give them a try. From what I can remember, the rear of the wheels where it touches the hub is not painted. Have to check again though.

You're gonna love your smoked titanium VS7s. The finish is just perfect.

When the VS7 were still in development Carlos did put aome emphasis on having the entire wheel powdercoated.

All 4 were fully powdercoated but the finish had been scratched off by something.

To be honest, I believe they are painted, NOT powdercoated.

I don't know this for sure though because I never got a straight answer.

You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."
