New JBE module installed IFH-003: Error on INPA

Hi,

I had a JBE module replaced with the original one. Most of the electronics are working (except it shows error on airbags/seatbelts) and the left mirror wont fold upon reverse. I am trying to read errors with INPA but it gives me:
IFH-0003: DATATRASMISSION TO INTERFACE DISTURBER.

What could be the reason for diagnostic software not communicating with the car? The setup of my machine and INPA is definitely good.
It does show when ignition is on or off but that is it.

Thanks for any advice.

Check Device Manager with the cable plugged in, should be set to Com1 and Latency 1

Hi Impac. It is definitely set to Com1 and latency 1. It used to recognise it but after new module it has stopped recognising.

Hi, did you ever resolve this? I've got the exact same issues.

In my case I think it's because my car uses K-can & the newer JBE is D-can? Anyone know how this can be resolved?

Old (damaged) JBE: PL2 JBBFE , H4
New (used) JBE: PL2 JBBFE 2, H4

But I cannot connect to INPA, returns a 'IFH-0003: DATATRASMISSION TO INTERFACE DISTURBER' fault.

You are correct - the communication methods are different. The simplest solution is to revert to an older JBE revision. However, I think you can solve the problem by changing the connection from OBDII pin 7 (K-Line High) to a different pin on the newer JBE

I think ICON2015 commented on this so search for posts by him
