Shock/Coilover options for M3 rear camber links on a E82

I'm going to swap the rear camber links/arms on my 135i which will require me to use an E9# M3 rear shock. I'm having a tough time finding a place that will either sell a mixed coil over setup, mixed being E83 fronts and E9# M3 rears, or just a Koni SA (yellow) shock or equivalent. I know this swap has been done before but I can't seem to find discussion about shock/coilover options. I'm asking here since the E9# non-M3 use the same shocks as the E83. Any help will be appreciated.

Just buy in pairs (fronts then rears).

Or call someone like TCKline or Ground Control, who know what they're doing.

Thanks, I was just hoping someone with a 1 or 3 series had done this and could share their experience rather than me inventing my own wheel, lol. I'll figure it out.

I did it long time ago before going to coilovers.

i have bought Bilstein in pair

"Classic" B8 for no M e8* in front

and

Bilstein B8 35-115939 VE3B593 rear M3 1M

I hope it helps you a little.

If you are on budget, you can also use Used light alloy aluminium OEM 1M/M3 rear shocks (Without EDC) . You can find it at a low price on ebay by example.

I second the call to Ground Control. Though I run an E90 chassis, I also went to the M3 rear lower camber arms with M3 specific shocks. I bought their M3 conversion kit. I had found used rear camber arms from local salvage so they took this portion of cost out of the kit. I’m quite sure they would build you an kit equivalent but with E83 front parts. These guys are real good and with match the shock to your choice of spring rates. Donavan was very helpful to me with all of my questions. The owner is an enthusiast. Good luck.
