Question regarding our boost solenoids

Hi all,

I unfortunately got the dreaded 30ff nightmare, after spending a whole day running through the air system repeatedly (front inlet was completely detached, replaced and cleared codes, error still triggered)

and did multiple close visual inspection of all the vac lines to no avail (ran through e90 post a million times and retried a bunch of stuff). And out of exasperation, i disconnected the top vac lines off of the cannisters (the ones that go to the solenoids) and blew into them. I was able to blow straight through, is this supposed to happen? I tried searching for if someone has tried this, but never found that part specifically. I was planning to test them properly tomorrow but was curious in the mean time
