Just got this today, am getting it constantly (with limps) as soon as I give moderate throttle in any gear. No tune. I can tell I'm building no boost whatsoever, it feels like a 325!

Any clues guys?

No, it's not the valves it's other things. If you think about it, the OEM valves can't hold the increased boost, so they leak and don't allow it to build as much. Throwing on the Forge valves makes it more efficient, so any boost leaks the OP has due to the other installed items will become apparent. Like everyone else has said, check the other hoses or do a real leak test to find the underlying issue.

Plenty of Forge valves out there on many, many cars. (Not just BMW's.) What I was saying was you can't assume it is definitely the valves. (And it probably isn't.)

And if it is the valves we warranty them for life. It isn't a problem with the design, it has been proven on thousands of cars, it would have to be either a manufacturing defect or a failure of some sort for the issue to be caused by the valve, wither of which we will take care of.

Just a thought but have you guys with the forge DV's making sure it's greased up? My Forge DV's were sticking so i greased it up with some high pressure red grease and all is great again. No more issues.

Just got both Codes 3100 & 30FF. I am 100% stock with JB+ running at 50% and 93 octane. Got this on highway and after turning the car off everything is OK.

30ff was wastegate issues with mine.

"Performed turbo wastegate test plans. neither wastegate closed at 200mb. adjusted wastegates- road test ok."

Was happening everytime I floored the car.. went away with turning off and starting up.

How do you perform one of these tests?

Question

i have same fault code...and i don't know wat it could be due ? sometines when driving normaly i've got engine warning light.

i've got also wastegate rattle only on deceleration , on front turbo, but no problem performance on my car ?

I think when it's a solenoid case fault code is 2A82 etcc and not 3100 ou 30FF ?

I verified pipe etc but it seems no leak...

if it cam be a dump valve ??

Hello everyone,

Someone managed to solve the codes 3100 and 30FF ?
I have a 335 2008 100 % stock and I'm the same mistakes.
Appears every 10 days the half-light injection , when I turn off the car and turn back to normal.
I spent the INPA and accused these codes I said.

Thank you.

I got this issue with my 335i, finally put on my downpipes and everything was running smooth until I did a pull when someone cut me off to get around them. I heard some pop out of my exhaust and ever since it’s been running weird. On idle it’s not making this sound, only when I accelerate decently fast, I’m hearing some kind of sound that sounds like a fan blowing loud or something but I don’t hear my blow off valve anymore. I’m getting a 3100 code and a 30ff code and I know it’s a boost leak but I just don’t know where it’s coming from or how it happened, hope someone can help.
7.5 in intercooler
Catless downpipes
Mhd stage 2
Charge pipe, blv
Dual come intakes
I looked around for leaks and I couldn’t find any, smoked my system through my bov which idk if that was the right way to do it.

Boost leak, or blown turbos. 30ff is low boost. And the 3100 is boost control deactivation cause by the 30ff
