Smile New E90 owner from Toronto

Hi guys,

My name is Shu, I live in Richmond Hill, I recently got a 2010 CPO Jerez Black E90 M3. I come from a fully bolt-on Mazda 3 to bolt-on FRS and now finally got the car I always wanted since college.

I have been an active member on TM3 and FT86Club, I also plan to do the same on E90post/M3post.

Here are my previous 2 cars:

and finally my E90.

Thanks for reading =)

E90 M3 is rare!
Congratz for owning such a beatiful car OP!
Since you are living in Richmond Hill, I think you should join our bi-weekly meet every other Friday at 16th & woodbine ave. Many north end members will show up and chill, its a good chance to meet some friends in this area
Next meet will be this Friday night 9:30pm at 16th & woodbine ave, northeast corner in front of sport chek

Off topic, but how did you like the FR-S as a DD, city/winter driving especially. I'm assuming it was MT.

Yeah it was a 6MT, I picked up the car during Oct of last year and drove it until a few weeks ago so I did drive through a big chunk of winter. I had Blizzak LM60s and in winter it still fish tail a lot do to the no-weight trunk, but I did DD it in winter and I survived through it.

Off topic but the FRS has one of the best shifter, perfect combination of precise, notchy and smooth. Almost Porsche like, much better than the sluggish M3 6MT

Hmm, good to know. Fishtailing isn't an issue; used to it with the d's massive torque at the wheels. How was the rear space-wise? Trunk room? City driving mileage. It runs on regular, if I'm not mistaken.

I'm considering an FR-S as a somewhat cheap(er), fun car once my lease runs out.

rear you can not fit anyone with legs unless the front passenger don't have legs... I treat it as a 2 seater, trunk space is very small, I get 8.4L/100KM 50/50 and I drive pretty aggressive.

The car is really tossable since it's very light, 1260kgish and it's fun on the track. Just did not have the power or the refinement that I want.

I don't know how you went from that car to an M3. A 997 911 would have been considerably closer to what an FR-S is like and it would have more power which is what you want

That's semi disappointing (the rear room/trunk *******.
I live in the Bathurst and Carrville area so if I see you, I'll do the double flash.

Edit: Why is it censoring space ), when there's no space character after the e? O.o
