Smile Your Opinion

Hello Fellow BMW Friends,

I wanted to get your opionion on the topic of tires. I have a 2009 BMW 335xi coupe. It has come time for me to change tires. This will be my second set. The first set that I bought after the ones that were installed on the car. The first set that i bought were run flats.
Recently i encountered a problem with my left front tire. There were two small holes in the middle of the tire beside the thread. Anyways i went to different places to fix it and most of them would not fix it. They said that run flats could not be fixed. I found a place that would fix it.

They took off the tire and rim, Grinded the place inside the tire then used a liquid ( dont know what its called) and patch and put the rim back on and the tire was good as new. Paid $35 dollars.

For my second set should I continue with Run flats or just go with the regular all season tires. Your opionion is grealty apprecaited.

Almost all of my customers have been much happier after switching from RFT to non-RFT tires. The ride is much more comfortable and the tires are much more affordable. Just get a fix a flat kit to keep in your trunk.

Thanks a lot. What brands of non RFT tires do you recommend?
I would like all season since I don't have wheels to change out in the summer of winter.
