Where is the water coming from?!?!?!

Woke up this morning to find my rear seat soaking wet. The ceiling area around the rear overhead lights was soaked to a 12 inch circle. Sunroof was closed, car was parked on an incline facing up the hill during mild rain. Can you solve the mystery? Will the water stains ever disappear from the leatherette? Car is an 06 325xi E90

Please help!

check your sunroof drain, might be plugged with leaves or dirt.
if the track around the sunroof cant drain, the water backs up into the car.
