1 question: WTF is a oil catch can - Mike, you going to sell me one of those too? (I am Mike AND Shiv's customer !!!)
Search it!! Lol it made to minimize oil vapor, but most people use it to avoid carbon buildup.

Shiv, any thoughts on whether my BSH OCC might be influencing some of the stuff we discussed?

good find on the crankcase pressure issue, what tipped you off? Oil film seeping out of connections caused by the pressure? Thats what tipped me off on mine.

I was complaining about these catch can designs for over a year now. My catch can keeps the sized inlet and outlet and still ran lean on the procede but not on Cobb. Personally I would like to hear the reasoning behind this as I am simply not buying it just yet.

I have a Riss Racing, so I guess I'll remove it. I'd love to hear what brand is "properly" designed because I would like to be running one.

Wouldn't it make more sense to just vent the PCV line to atmosphere through a nice big check valve?

Obviously you reattach the stock connections for dealer visits/inspection.

It was leaking but that's not what tipped us off...for a while now we've been noticing AFRs on bank2 behave oddly under WOT...it'd be consistently leaner through the pull than bank1...thought it was the O2 sensors which I got replaced (they were damaged anyway) but the issue still happened...last night Shiv had the idea to unplug it and try to see as it didn't really make sense that AFRs still had the issue...we unplugged the OCC, left the driver's intake side unplugged and just put a 6'' hose on the crankcase side, did a bunch of pulls and what do you know, AFRs just PERFECT, down to 12.2 consistently on both banks following each other exactly...AFRs actually now go down to 12.2 as early as 3500rpm...with the OCC in there i was seeing lean AFRs at around almost 14-15 points sometimes as high as 4500-5000rpm..really glad that was fixed as I was running out of options there..I'll probably just put a crankcase breather back there and not another OCC..

The car is running REALLY strong at just 14psi with pump 94 gas...i can't even image what it'll be like with race gas and 20psi

What issue do you have? BSH looks to be as good as it can get in terms of input/output ports and their tubing that they use with their can BUT the tubing is 4-5x longer than stock which is only 6'' in length which can affect pressurization also...i guess if you're not seeing any issues with it on your car I'd keep the BSH one but a breather is probably ideal..

Keep in mind this car baselined at 262whp with full boltons and stock turbos and did 402whp on pump+meth at 18-18.5psi

efficiency!

and on the OCC, the breather always seemed like a better option retaining the 6" hose length, any remember the thread with the little filter type thing that was used as the breather?

wow awesome results ! without Ignition correction you can definitely NOT run 16 psi without timing drops/knock on pump gas.

The car did 362whp at 15psi on pump with the stock turbos, full boltons and no meth with power dropping off after 5600rpm...this is an 80whp increase on pump gas which holds for a 1000rpms to redline...this RB run really was around 15.5-16psi

I wish these damn RB turbos were available when I needed new ones a year ago. Oh well, guess I'll just need to upgrade again eventually

We have pretty much the same figures, mine are 10 whp higher both on stock boost stage 3 and stage 3 15-16 psi stock turbos. I should dyno than 450 whp on 15-16 psi pump but i doubt my turbos are as good as the RBs .... will see.
