I think they should be about the same...do you have the specs on the compressor and turbine wheels, sizes? Numbers should be pretty close...RBs are really boost happy in that they spool VERY fast and the wg dc is on the low side...15.5psi its down near 30% wg dc, might just be a stiffer wg setup

The TD stage 2 are TD04L-15T with modified shaft since the original does not fit.

Damn!

What octane is the pump gas and what was the ambient temp & altitude?

Sunoco (now Petro Canada) 94 pump gas (up to 10% ethanol)...25F (-4C) outside but ambient inside the shop is probably around 65-70F (18-19C)...i'm not at the dyno, Shiv is there with John (ultimateracing335i, who also has RBs on his car)...i had to come into work, damn it!

So 16PSI is all looking fine on pump gas, or you think you are pushing it at this level? Last run I did was at 14PSI - I'm just going to increase boost gradually to make sure things are fine. I have a BSH OCC so Shiv's post has got me a bit concerned now!

Someone needs to photoshop that pic now!!

I have a BSH...I doesn't really get much oil at all, barely to the dipstick. The long tubes and angle they run have me concerned in the past. But, the good side it they are the same diameter piping as stock 1" in/out.

Too early to tell...make sure you monitor AFRs on both banks if you're increasing boost...don't go north of 16psi on just pump gas that's for sure..do you even get traction at WOT at 14 especially with winter tires?

About catch cans...if you feel that the amount of oil your OCC catches over time is worth keeping/maintaining it AND if you notice that your car is running fine then I'd say keep it...I found that the RR OCC was very restrictive, it leaked everywhere and caused issues with AFR imbalance between banks, serious imbalance actually...i've always been a strong fan of don't fix until its broke and mine was broke

So, you probably make at least 25WHP more than us sorry sods in 91 octane land.

Great initial numbers on 16PSI. Looks very promising. Go Rob Beck!

Maybe 5-10max...If that were the case then I'd expect over 500 with 104 octane (no meth) and the same boost, 16psi not a chance

No winter Tires for me I'm in NorCal, running PS2s, at 14PSI they did seem to be gripping well, I feather the throttle in 1st and 2nd though, and try to make sure its not a bumpy road when hitting it in 3rd. I have no doubt though a few bumps in the road, tires not warmed up, bit of dampness I'll spin the tires easily in 3rd. Did it even before the RB Turbo upgrade. As you said somewhere else its a scary experience when it happens at 75 mph.

I'll adhere to your advise closely, I don't want to blow my engine

interesting! Funny enough, i was wondering what else could be causing this issue. I have a Mckinney CC and i have noticed that there is a film on one of the connections at the catch can area.

Dzenno, did you take your catch out completely?

Damn, even more impressvie than your pump +16psi hittin 440whp is your baselines are relatively lower! Your deltas are some of the best I've seen.

I do think there is a lot of value in upgrading the CHRA as a whole unit compared to others...RB man must be pretty happy right about now!

Now you gotta get those rear subframe bushings in so you can actually make that power push you straight down the road...not straight into a wall or ditch, haaha.
