I can vouch for the quality having seen them in person. Only downside worth mentioning is that the install won't be easy since there's heatsink, electric boards and the bulbs. Unfortunately it's the only way that it'll look that bright, a PnP solution like PIAA will not be able to produce the same result with the limiting hardware.

Best daytime looking LED's yet for the e92, I think.

Which raises the question where would you put the heatsink, el. boards and the resistors. The space in the housing is very limited and I had a hard time putting all in when I installed the PIAAs.

I also agree with remmib

That coming out and Lux coming out before the end of year, that's so exciting. Also, means that I 'll be buying all these. Darn it.....

Hey i called DD earlier today, he said that they use 2 LEDs for the outer ring and 1 LED for the inner ring. I know this is a design flaw for the e92 angels (not equal brightness) but it seems like the outer ring is brighter than the inner ring now, which is opposite as the original flaw. Do you think u guys can put 2 LEDS on each ring instead?

outer ring is not brighter, just look at the night shots...adding one more LED will increase the cost alot i believe.

I think they look promising for now. Looks like a nice upgrade, but install is most likely a PITA, not as convenient as twisting out an H8 bulb judging from the size of the heatsink and such.

The angel eyes will become brighter if you have the ignition on. Did you left your ignition ON?

I guess it's fine with me because you only have to do this once then you will be set forever.

Can you do a comparison pic with GP Thunder 7500k and DD Crystal? I think the GP Thunders look very close for something that is only $15.

Hmm..... they are comparing the stock H8 bulb to the DD Crystal unit. Since stock is brighter (actually the brightest out there) than the GP Thunder (no blue tint on glass), if you reason it out yourself, you should be able to come up with this:

DD Crystal > Stock > GP Thunders ~ PIAA or Bellof

I hope the price wont be like ridiculous...if the price is reasonable then they will be a hit. If they get greedy then it will probably crash and burn like PIAA. As of now, im happy with my $20 GP THunders.

What are the long term effects of having a heatsink, elec boards, in terms of heat - what if you're tracking the car, will the boards melt or something!??

Please don't price it like a million dollars.........make it cheap & affordable and everyone will buy these
