I had been driving around for a long time with no badge after I put my CSL trunk lid on. Recently put the 335i badge on and suddenly nobody at gas stations asks if it's an M3

Remove the badge.
There's no reason to tell everyone in the traffic what you got under your hood.
In Norway you can choose if you want the badge or not when you buy the car new, therefore most BMWs here drive around without badges.

Do you have to use the blow dryer too or just fishing line?

What I did to remove:

-Clean the car
-get neccessary tools (Goo Gone, DW40, fishing line or floss, blowdryer, water or a quick detailer liquid)
-warm up the badge so glue softens
- spray the quick detailer or water this is to ensure the surface is wet and no microscratches are created, if you are as anal as i am about paint i recommend doing this.
-Take fishing wire or floss that is by your side and prepared, and removed the badge
- once the badge is off use the goo gone or DW40 to remove the remainder of the glue, to make this easier since the surface is most likely dry and cool already reheat the area where you are having trouble removing the glue and remove the glue in heated area.
-Once all glue is removed, was polish and wax the area so everything is clean and shiny!

LOVE the look of your euro badged trunk

Thanks! Sounds not that hard to do. Now the question is to de-badge or not? What do other 335is owners think?

IMO, you have a 335is if someone does not know what that is the badge wont make them recognize the car as anything special. Plus the has the unique look to it.

In my opinion, only leave a badge on something special. M cars, rare cars, or maybe the diesel cars if your into those. Other than that it's cleaner and less distracting. Some cars out there looks like rolling spec sheets!

What about the Xdrive badges under the side markers? Keep or remove? My concern is that if the car is towed without my knowledge, there's no indication that it's awd.

I left mine on and now it was replaced by my Dinan 3 badge. I got the S1 package.
Seems like everyone wants to race me now.
