It bases the reading on the last 15km you have done, but updating itself every 3km, if that makes sense? So it is constantly changing.

I find it pretty accurate, depends if you feather it for the first few miles to get good mpg if that is not how you drive for a full tank it will be pretty inaccurate.
My 320d ED auto used to say 480 miles when I filled up and that was about what I got, if hitting 50mph traffic just after filling up for 30 mins sure it would say 650 miles, but as soon as the traffic clears I don't sit at 50mph.

I got 420 out of 3/4 of a tank full, half A roads, half motorway. In the morning its 65-70 mph homeward bound its more!! So im happy with my first week of ownership it cost me £52 for 6 day working week.

I average about 40mpg in my 330d Auto giving about 520 miles between fill ups.

This week i did a 250 mile round trip at about 65-70 and managed to achieve 47mpg for the trip. Total range was working out to over 700 miles.

330d can be really economical at lower speeds, even the auto!!

evolve mapped 330d - usually 450ish mostly town driving 38mpg ish. 500 easy on normal driving.
