I wouldn't spend that much time emailing a salesman. I know what I want to pay. Yes or no. If not, no hard feelings, I take my business somewhere else. I don't have time for the " let me see if my manager is in a good mood" bullcrap.

I guess. I hear nothing but terrible things about Vishnu. (limp mode and non-existent customer service)

What I'm trying to say is that if you are gonna take a e92 335 to SEMA now, it has to be something epic to show case it, because the 335i is played out, and sponsors and exhibitionists will be more interested in what the e92 M3 has to offer for after market modification because it's brand new territory just like how the 335i took precedence over the 330 a year ago.

yes i drive an e92 335. I love my car, my point is that it's played out for SEMA, because the e92 M3 is the new kid on the block. Unless you do some insane mods like what Retrograde did with those insannnnnnnne 20's and that MONSTERRRRRRRR BBK, the 335 e92 has lost its heat. no matter what you do with a 335 an M is an M.

What I don't understand is how they're getting anyone to pay over invoice for ANY car in this economy?

I am at a loss. The seller doesn't want to do the deal and the buyer is strong arming him on a public forum. If other dealers offered it just go to them. I didn't see the seller do anything wrong. Also, it might be different if the other offers were in writing.

I guess it depends on who you deal with at long beach BMW. I dealt with Will Shaw and am more than happy with the process. Granted, I was buying out my lease as opposed to purchasing a new car, but still, Will got me in and out within an hour, and made the entire process very easy.
