Stop overthinking it. A tuned 335i will walk a stock RT challenger.

My fbo inlet outlet stock turbo e92 on e60 was just a little faster than my buddy’s stock intake only hellcat from a roll or stop.

Yes, but why put JB4? Just get MHD, it is more user friendly.
Considerably cheaper too !

What type of mods do you need to run the MHD stage 1 tune?

You need the reading mod, not much else:

Man Challenger's are so gross to me. They are freaking huge and drive horribly. Who care's if it's faster in a straight line, you still have a much better car by a large margin.

Same. I like the Hellcat power (rode in one a couple years back and pretty sure my soul left my body) but the interior was a sea of plastics and leftover 70s Trans Am parts.

Depends what tune you're running. Anything under stage 2 93 octane is slow nowadays IMO. Even that is bordering the threshold.

A stage 1+ tune with about 390bhp and 500nm torque would be enough to gap a stock Challenger

Stock Challenger has no chance against an FBO running Stage 2+

i took my friends challenger 392 for a rip and i think i could take him if i give him 10 cars in a 1/4 mile race. 485 hp ?? feels as fast as a stock 335i at best.

Slow is a relative term.

Stage 1+ N54 is faster than Challenger.

Of course 390bhp or even 450+bhp and 600nm might be slow if you are used to 600+bhp cars.

For the rest of us, it's quick enough.

Silent your car is an anomaly compared to most standard FBO N54s. What were you running again a custom tune + inlets and a 12 sec 1/4 mile?

Slow for todays standards. Most new 2020 cars coming off lot stock are beating stage 1 stage 2 easy - Q60's, 2021 Mustang 5.0, 240i's/340i's, Camaro SS, Lexus RC 350i's, Audi S4 (slow), C43's, Kia Stingers... hell you'd have problems with a new base 2021 eco boost turbo Mustang and the new drivetrain.

5 years ago a FBO N54 was ahead of the curve on all these cars. Not anymore, the script has flipped. The turbo game has changed it for everyone.

yeah i ran 11.4 @ 120

but honestly if you know what you are doing my number is very achievable.

A friend of mine with a 135i only has downpipes, fmic and drag radials and is running V5 E40 OTS MHD tune and ran 11.3 @ 122. No stg 2 fuel pump, no inlets. Very very simple setup with 3-4 mods.

If you have access to E85 there is no reason you cant run 11 sec 1/4 mile and that is faster than 90% of the cars on the street.

Yeah I agree, my car/logs are on point, I run the e30 OTS map with xHP stage 2 and on a perfect take off I beat my friends stock M4 by a nose. M4 1/4 mile is supposedly 12.1 seconds.

lol, Stage 2+ running without issues (with intercooler and downpipes) will gap all of the above stock cars.

Hahahaha how old are you, 23 drinking the FBO kool-aid especially on stage 1+ GTFO. I see you joined in January 2019 so must be a N54 newbie, welcome! Let me give you a reality check mate - you will NOT gap a M340i B58 engine, you WILL be gapped. An M340i will tear you a new asshole. You will NOT gap a 2020 RC 350 that runs a 1/4 mile in 12.8. You will NOT gap a 2021 Mustang 5.0 7-speed that runs a 1/4 mile in 12 seconds. You will NOT gap a Camaro SS, you will get smoked. You may be even with an Audi S4/Stinger GT but he will probably gap you if he knows how to drive either car with AWD with launch control. You will NOT beat a 2020 AMG C43 at 12.6. You will NOT gap a 2020 Q60 Red edition AWD. You may gap 2016 versions of these cars. But with more turbo HP, AWD, newer 7-speed+ transmissions and drivetrains not happening.

And those are just numbers. How do I know this? Because I race all these cars on the daily and until you go to ethanol (OR upgraded turbos), I'm sorry to say but your car is slow compared to 2020 line of cars listed above. Moreover I don't know how you even run a straight line 1/4 mile in the UK with all the twisty hilly roads out there. Also I doubt you see all the 2020 versions of these cars. I live in Newport Beach California, where all these cars and super cars are plentiful like Dubai.

about 40 pal. You must have drove some lemons,

You sound like some overexcited underage kid speaking through his backside. LMAO

Stage 2+ N54 with FBO is about 420whp+

All those cars you listed (Stock) have less power and torque and weigh more.

M340i has about 370 bhp and 369lb/ft

2020 RC 350 has about 311bhp and 280lb/ft

Mustang 2021 5.0 GT has about 480bhp and 420lb/ft

Camaro SS has 455 bhp and 455lb/ft

Stinger GT has about 370 bhp and S4 350bhp

Keep dreaming if it makes you feel better.
