Well I hope to speak with Joe Jr. tomorrow, getting a hold of Joe Sr. will be tough since from what I understand he's never there. I'm also using the BBB, a friend of mine used them once and speaks favorably of the process (cheap and he won and got a fair settlement), so I'm crossing my fingers there. Will post an update tomorrow.

I hate perillo BMW, thank god I only bought the car from there and I don't have to have them service it.

Jr. is the one to talk to. If you see a Jim Demeter there, throw a pie in his face for me.

UPDATE: Perillo BMW is avoiding me, I know from asking the receptionist that the service advisor is there, but he doesn't pick up the phone and isn't returning my messages. He's been there at least 3 hours already.
This is very bad.

I would just show up to the dealership, forget all the phone call stuff. Its hard to avoid someone when their in your face. Sorry to hear about your situation.

Ok the service advisor just emailed me a short 'we're working on it' email just now. Said BMW's rep should be there tomorrow, and that they don't know what's going on (that's comforting). Ugh, but at least it's a response. I'm still going to go talk to Joe Jr since they caused this.

UPDATE 2: This will be hard to believe but,
1) Service advisor emails me and asks me where my car is. I tell him that you still have it since my top didn't work again. He says, oh, I didn't know it was here. (So when he sent me his last email and said he was 'working on it' he was obviously misleading me or something, what was he working on if he didn't even know my car was there??)
2) Service advisor also tells me that Joe Perillo Jr does not want to speak with me.

Wow, he literally said he doesn't want to speak to you? He seemed so nice on the commercials Sounds like you have yourself quite a situation. Hope you get it resolved soon and a big apology.

That is ridiculous! I would tell the SA that if the owner didn't call me back he'll be talking to me and my lawyer in court!

damn i would tell him that if he doesn't want to speak to you then thats showing what obviously horrible customer service they have there and you'll be sure to let all 46,000 people on E90post.com about it.... along with you telling him that you'll just send your lawyer in to talk to him instead.

UPDATE 3: I went over there, Joe still wouldn't talk to me, but they said my car is fine. I drove it myself and tested the top and it seems to work ok, but I do have it in writing that they broke it. We'll see how it goes....

yeah but i'd still be looking for some compensation on their end not only for fucking it up the 1st time but trying to pass it off unfixed to you on 3 separate occasions.

something like a $100 gift cert. to Gibsons or some shit like that.

Not sure it's been fixed yet, the first two times they gave me the car back the top broke in 2-3 days.

They are treating you very badly. The next time I'm in to see my guy I'd be happy to mention it to him if you're cool with that. Probably won't mean much, but you never know. Let me know if you would be ok with my saying something, diplomatically of course. I won't do it unless I here from you.

I dont know of many dealers where the owner will talk to a customer, much less be around to even talk to a customer, as many are part of dealer groups. Why should Joe talk to you? Seriously, if your Armani suit was bad, would the head of Neiman Marcus or Mr Armani be involved? No-

It was a unique problem and the issue was made worse by poor management, which I am sure Joe has heard of the problem by now.

Of course this thread it 3 years old, and not other complaints, so I guess they are doing something right. They take car of me just fine.
