Hi guys,

I attach a video to explain the behaviour
The car runs always fine but after some time and when restart this happens.

Car is an x3 n55 engine

I did already
- eccentric shaft and sensor and engine for eccentric shaft
- camshaft sensor
- ignition coils and spark plugs

There are never errors in the error log.

Can it be the high precision pump ?
I doubt it as the car runs cold fine and starts perfectly …

Glad on any tips
Have this issue since july and invested 4k :-(
Close to sell the car

Cheers
Thomas

Edit: sorry i put into wrong category if admin can move to maintenance and issues thanks

It's somewhat of a shot in the dark but have you tried a software update? Wouldn't be a bad time to give MHD a try as it will install the latest version with any tune. With no errors I'd think it's software related. Could also be O2's or MAF

HPFP or fuel pressure regulator? The fuel pressure regulator is usually a cold start problem though.

Hi Guys,

I did an MHD log run!
My suspicion is now lamdba …. What do guys say to a lambda afr value of over 200 ?
Look how this is going up.
Behaviour is in the car that the car stops … accelerates again and has a weird and no proper idle.

Thoughts ? Does this point to a lambda issue ?
