Fuel Pump Issue?

So I've recently noticed on my n54 e92 that the car has trouble starting whenever the fuel pump does not prime. It sputters for a couple seconds and I have to give it some revs to stay running but once it runs, it drives great. My question is should the car be sputtering just because the fuel pump does not prime? Every other time that the fuel pump has primed itself, it starts just fine. I included a log of my startup and this was when it primed. Will be back shortly to log the startup when it does not prime.

Lift your rear seat off, remove those metal covers for the fuel pressure regulator and pump and stick your nose in there smelling for fuel. If you smell fuel or gas then replace.

The log you posted looks good, stable pressures and nothing out of the ordinary. If you have a log where the issue actually occurred that would be much more useful.

Here is a 3rd gear WOT
didn't rev it all the way up but I'm pretty sure the fuel pressures are normal?

I have a thread going with logs that are very similar to yours and I'm about to replace my hpfp because it looks like it's starting to let go.

How are you actually determining that it is your HPFP though? I was told as long as rail pressure is >1500 on WOT you should be good.
