this switch will work (as long as it fits), the knob on the left is for the euro cars only that allowed manual leveling of the headlights, which was done when you had passengers in the back or loaded trunk to prevent blinding the oncoming traffic (I don't believe we had that option on our continent), our cars have new generation self leveling headlights so the knob will not operate unless you will get headlights assembly from Europe that had that design and most like some programming will have to be done. The switch as long as it fits and connection is the same will work and you will not lose the self leveling option, that function is not controlled by the switch, hope it will clear up the confusion.

The switch housing is identical to the US switch housing and all parts are interchangeable. It fits all 06-12 128, 135, 325, 328, 330, 335 and M's.
The thump wheel switch on the left will only light up, unless you have a European headlight set-up as stated above. Both front and rear fog lights work without any programming required. It works with any car listed above regardless if you do or no not have Auto On, Wiper On, Zenon or any other headlight options as long as it is an '06+ manufactured switch. Headlight switches are dumb. Anything operation the function of wiper on, headlights on, Auto on headlights or powering Zenon headlights is all performed outside of the headlight switch. The circuits inside determine which LEDs within the switch light up and direct power to the light circuit you manually select or if set in Auto mode, will route the signal from the Auto on circuit to power the headlights.
All of the switches or kits that I sell enable all headlight and fog light options. I add resistors or and LEDs to ensure they are plug and play for all customers. The European headlight switches are original to Europe (UK) and the rear fog light switches are OEM. On all other headlight switches and rear fog light kits, I etch the read fog light symbol on the buttons.

hey, just so you know, I am still waiting for that switch, not sure if you can track it somehow but I have already received other items that were ordered two days after the switch from other users, hopefully it will come soon

well I did get my switch today, all looks great, well packed nothing damaged and the seller still talks to me as we are in discussion regarding one thing. For sure NOT one of those that sell you the item, you get it and they will never speak with you again

no problem, switch works great and already used the option once during the snow storm while on the highway I am sure I was more visible to others
