265/35/19 and 225/35/19 rwd
Hey, im running into some rubbing issues with my 235/40/19 setup upfront, so i was thinking about going lower profile tire. Although i would not want to swap my rears to 265/30 just yet since they're almost new and not rubbing. Would i run to any issues if i go with this 4% diameter difference in rwd car? Like abs/dtc.

A 235/40-19 is going to be too tall of a tire for the E9X non-M chassis. A more ideal size and setup would be a 235/35-19, paired with a 265/30-19 rear. Since you are already running a taller rear tire (265/35 I assume), any wheel speed sensor related issues will remain the same when dropping down to a 235/35-19 front tire. Since the car is RWD, a taller rear tire will typically cause over reactive traction control intervention. However, there should not be an overly noticeable difference during normal street driving. I highly suggest swapping out the whole set for the proper tire sizes for this chassis, but running the mismatched tires on the street short-term shouldn't cause any significant issues in drivability. Hope this helps! -Geirsen

I would say go with 235/35/19 and keep the 265/35/19 in rear.
I have 235/35/19 and 255/35/19 now, I would have went wider in rear if I wasn't using my stock wheels that are only 9" wide.
