Biggest benefit is ease of maintenance. With euro box you just gotta pull the lid off. NA version requires you to pull the entire airbox out.

This is the way. I rock the Euro airbox for underhood bling, some noise if I take off the cover, and ease of maintenance.

No doubt you are correct there. it was probably the IAT and I did not try to use it.
